Tissue reconstruction, also known as autologous breast reconstruction, uses your own body fat and tissue to rebuild the shape of your breasts. Since fat can be harvested from various areas of the body, there are several options available based on your individual body type and anatomy. Common donor sites include the abdomen (DIEP flap), upper thigh (PAP flap), buttocks (SGAP flap), and upper back near the bra line (TDAP flap).

Procedures We Offer
DIEP Breast Reconstruction
One of the most advanced techniques for breast reconstruction available today. It uses the patient’s own skin and fat — typically from the lower abdomen — to rebuild the breast after a mastectomy, without sacrificing any abdominal muscles.
PAP/TUG Breast Reconstruction
A newer, muscle-sparing breast reconstruction technique that uses skin and fat from the back of the upper thigh, just below the buttock crease. This method is particularly well-suited for thinner patients who may not have enough abdominal tissue for DIEP flap reconstruction.
TDAP Breast Reconstruction
An advanced breast reconstruction technique that uses fat and skin from the upper back — particularly near the underarm and outer shoulder area — to rebuild the breast after mastectomy.
IGAP & SGAP Flap Breast Reconstruction
GAP stands for gluteal artery perforator, a key blood vessel running through the buttocks. GAP flap procedures use this vessel along with skin and fat from the buttock area to reconstruct the breast after mastectomy.
Hybrid Stacked Flap Breast Reconstruction
This technique combines the use of your own tissue with a breast implant. An excellent option for patients who want the softness and natural feel of autologous tissue but need additional volume or projection that tissue alone may not provide.
APEX Flap Breast Reconstruction
A cutting-edge form of microsurgical breast reconstruction designed for patients who have undergone mastectomy. It uses the patient’s own excess fat from the lower abdomen to recreate the natural shape and volume of the breast.
